Yes. Your divorce decree overrides any agreements or arrangements made prior. As an unmarried person or newly married person, you have a new estate. With this transition, you may also want to reconsider who you have assigned as an agent for your finances and/or health.

Yes. If you already have an estate plan, you may be able to update those documents or it may make sense to draft new documents. As it stands, you have a new "estate" as well so it is critical for you to create an estate plan that reflects your current situation and needs.
